My project process from start to finish!
I’ve got a background and qualifications in Project Management so while you can be assured that your illustrations will be great, I can also plan a project from start to finish like a pro! This is my usual process and of course I can change based on your requirements, timelines etc.
Email me! You get in contact by emailing me - info@rachaelpresky.co.uk. I’ll let you know if I have time to pick up your project (it’s usually a yes, as a mum of 2, I’m a juggling master!)
Briefing call A call or email about your brief and budget - what’s the project? Is there a focus/event (christmas, etc)? Brand colours/brand guidelines. Campaign, give me as many details as you can right now! For murals, how big is the wall? How do you want it installed, etc! I’m happy to sign an NDA if it is required at this point!
Quote/Budget I’ll send over a quote, based on your budget, of what I’ll be able to include, the timelines and the terms of the image licensing.
Accept Quote You accept the quote, woo! Accepting my quote means you agree to my T&Cs so I’ll send over a ‘Commissioner Agreement’
We get to work! Either another chat to get into the nitty gritty of the project or…
Sketches/Concepts I get to work on sketches, I’ll usually come up with 2-3 ideas/concepts and some sketches to accompany it, a mockup if it’s going to be on a wall/product.
7. Feedback We can chat over which ideas are your favourite and I make tweaks. It’s easiest to make changes at the sketch stage.
8. Sketch Acceptance You accept the sketches and we move to colouring! I am more than happy to work using your brand colours but I can also come up with a colour palette!
9. Final Tweaks Another round of tweaks to the colours, etc!
10. Complete! You’re happy and the project gets signed off!!
